Alan has been worshiping at All Saints’ Laleham since about 1980. He has lived a lot of his life through church in Laleham—he was married here, his two daughters were baptised here and his eldest daughter was married here.

In 2010 he completed training to become one of the ministry team and he will preach at services, lead worship and promote the pastoral care within the parish.

He is a nurse by profession, and retired from the NHS after 38 years, though he still works three days a week as a specialist nurse in Occupational Health.

Now with a grandson to devote his energy to, life is very full!
